Grey batted first and scored 125/6 in 20 overs. CP Klijnhans scored 54 runs from 47 balls and Hanrich de Kock scored 27 runs. After a great last over from Jandre du Plessis, the match ended in a tie as PBHS scored also 125/6. Jandre du Plessis and Ettiene Bellingham took two wickets each.

PBHS batted first and scored 218 all out. The best bowlers from Grey were Ettienne Bellingham, HJ de Lange and Deon Lourens who each took two wickets. Grey scored then 219/7 with 15 balls to spare. CP Klijnhans batted brilliantly and scored 94 runs not out. He was well supported by Thian Botha who contributed with 40 runs.

The U/14 A Cricket team travelled to Pretoria this past weekend and competed against Pretoria Boys High in a T20 and 50 over match.
We lost the toss at the start of the T20 match and were sent in to bat.
We made 168 runs for the loss of three wickets with our best batsman being Jaun-Dee Olivier with 66 runs.
PBH managed 150 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allowed 20 overs.
Our best bowler was also Jaun-Dee Olivier with 2 wickets for 29 runs.
Grey won the match with 18 runs.

We bowled first and dismissed PBH for 111 runs.
Our best bowler was Muller Esterhuyse with 3 wickets for 19 runs.
We scored 114 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Our best batsman was Michael Kershaw with 22 runs.

Well done to our u/14 A water polo team on a semi-final finish in their first ever high school tournament. This shows that our junior sides are right up with the best teams in the country. Our boys also received lots of praise from parents from other schools for their behaviour, manners and general conduct throughout the tournament.
The past weekend several of the Grey MTB riders took part in the first leg of the National Cross country series held at Mankele near Nelspruit.
